BMW betting on hydrogen (Fuel Cell Today: Mon, 03 Mar) The German car manufacturer BMW has reported that it is betting on hydrogen but will is not focussing its energy on fuel cells or electric vehicles. They plan to extract the H from H2O, and then use it to power the same internal combustion engines we use today.

New fuel eases oil issues (The Lantern: Fri, 29 Feb) Hydrogen refueling stations are in the chicken and egg stage. "You can't have a hydrogen car without some place to refuel it," said Frank Ohlemacher, the facilities manager at Ohio State's Center for Automotive Research. CAR houses the only hydrogen refueling station in Ohio, where it is used in research on alternative transportation technologies.
